His Majesty King Sihamoni to Visit Siem Reap in Mid-December

SIEM REAP: The Siem Reap Provincial Administrative Center has organized for the King's presence at the Inauguration Ceremony of the King Sihamoni Meditation Center on 15 December 2022.

His Majesty the King will preside over the inauguration ceremony of the Meditation Center in Kok Beng Beng Village, Kork Chak Sangkat, Siem Reap City, Siem Reap Province.

The Deputy Governor of Siem Reap Province, You Sophea, organized a meeting to form a plan for the municipal administration, security forces, and Administrative Unity Command at all levels to be prepared to ensure security and public order. The Department of Health, in collaboration with the municipal administration, should set up a specific location for Covid-19 rapid tests to be conducted for all attending the ceremony.

At the same time, authorities at all levels must pay close attention to maintaining order, safety, and dignity. To avoid possible problems, it is essential to also organize a thorough examination of materials and means of transportation for the arriving delegations.

Furthermore, the municipal administration must advise people to keep the streets clean and must collaborate to maintain a healthy environment in their communities, specifically requesting local authorities and relevant institutes to continue educating people living in the area to maintain good public order.

This meeting was also attended by the province's chief abbot, the director and deputy director of the relevant provincial departments, representatives of the APSARA National Authority, and the Sangkat Kork Chak Administration.
